CYCLES
OF SALVATION HISTORY
by Ulrich Utiger

I am the alpha and the omega (Rev 1:11)

All questions of faith are related in some manner to salvation history. It is not some theory popping up from nowhere detached from any historical context pretending to explain the sense of life. Christian faith is inspired by the Bible, which is a historical book from the start to the end written by generations of authors covering centuries of history. This is why topics of faith only have sense within the context of salvation history.

I recapitulate on these pages the whole history of salvation, which starts with the creation of the world and early humanity according to the book of Genesis seen in the light of modern science. Then, it is restricted to the history of Israel, the first Christians and the Church. At a later time, it includes the history of Christianity in Europe going up to modern history as well as to a near and distant future described by the prophetic biblical accounts.

The main purpose of my theory on salvation history is to show that it is repeating itself through cycles composed of four typical phases based respectively on peace, sin, judgment and return to peace. These phases are quite natural since salvation must be preceded by transgression leading to suffering and therefore implicating healing through return to the initial condition of peace.

The present theory of a repeating salvation history is the key for the solution of important mysteries related for instance to Genesis, Daniel, Revelation, the apparitions of Saint Mary and so on. To know more about, please click on the links below.
